3. Problems Determining Time and Places
People with AD suffer time distortion, they need trouble acquiring new memories, they need a sense of being stuck in time. From their perspective, time passes quicker for them than for people without AD. They underestimate time thanks to the very fact that they can’t remember all the events within the short-term past as a result, they feel less time has passed. they’ll be ready to remember personal events that happened decades ago but had trouble remembering what happened a couple of hours ago.
They also forget where they’re or how they need to the place. This sign is dangerous because once they are driving they’ll stray.
